# Design Principles

Our agents are designed around a small set of core principles that distinguish them from traditional trading bots, signal services, and AI assistants:

* **Deterministic by design**\
  Agents operate on deterministic strategies. The same inputs always produce the same outputs.
* **Human-in-the-loop**\
  Agents never execute trades. They provide insights and signals; users remain fully in control of decisions.
* **Verifiable outcomes**\
  Agent outputs are observable and measurable, allowing performance to be evaluated over time.
* **Separation of concerns**\
  Strategies define logic, agents handle execution and exposure, and users decide how to act.
* **Economic alignment**\
  Agents participate in an incentive system where usefulness is rewarded and poor performance is penalized.
